When to expect delivery:

Delivery time is based on (a) time required to process the order and (b) time used by carrier to delivery the order.

Scents of Soy is a small business that prides itself in our quality of work. Our items are made to order and we do not keep pre-made inventory in stock. While we make every effort to process and ship orders as quickly as possible, orders can take 2-6 business days to process. Depending on your order size it could take longer to process. Please keep this in mind when ordering for special occasions, gifts and during the holidays when our volume is higher than normal. We will try our best to accommodate you if you need your order by a specific date.

Non-delivered orders:

All orders are shipped via USPS or UPS and are insured. In the rare event an order is lost by the Carrier during transit we will gladly replace the order and re-ship it to you at no additional expense. However, if the Delivery Confirmation/Tracking results show the delivery was made to your address we will not accept responsibility. Should a package be refused or returned to us unopened the customer will be charged a restocking fee of 15% of the order amount and the shipping cost to re-ship the order.

Shipping Damage:

Every effort has been made to ensure that your order will arrive safely after it leaves us. Please check your shipment thoroughly upon receipt for any damage. Any visual carton damage or breakage observed must be noted on the delivery receipt as “Damaged Package” before signing for it. MAKE ALL CLAIMS DIRECTLY WITH THE CARRIER. We will make sure all damaged items are replaced as quickly as possible. Failure to make a claim within 24 hours of receipt with the carrier will result in denial of the claim.
PLEASE NOTE! Melted candles do not qualify as shipping damage! Despite our best efforts, weather conditions such as extreme heat can damage wax products. If you can not be home for delivery please have your carrier hold your package or place it in a dry, cool area.

Privacy:

Your privacy and online security is important to us at Scents of Soy. ALL personal data we receive is kept private and secure against unauthorized access through our Secure Server Software (SSL) which fully encrypts (makes it unreadable) and protects your information so it cannot be read or used by anyone except us. Scents of Soy does NOT give, sell, or rent your personal information to anyone, for any reason! It is used only for the purpose of completing your transaction with us and for our customers' records.
